The Location - La Cruz
La Cruz is one of Costa Rica’s premier destinations for kitesurfing, known for its strong and consistent Papagayo winds. From December through March, the trade winds create excellent conditions for long days on the water, with plenty of room to ride and learn. The area’s wide beaches, warm water, and uncrowded surroundings make it an exciting place to spend a few days chasing the wind. Add in Costa Rica’s natural beauty and laid-back pace, and La Cruz makes an unforgettable base for a kitesurfing trip.
